Fauzi Postponement: Big Shocker To Spirit?

The other day, Mythri Movie Makers producer Ravi Shankar confirmed that Superstar Prabhas’ next film, their own production, “Fauzi”, is likely to be postponed. He stated that the film might come a little later than expected and assured fans that the quality they are delivering is likely to stun them in theatres. That means the December 3rd slot is empty, as are other films like Naga Chaitanya’s Vrushakarma. However, this decision is likely to affect ‘Spirit ’; it looks like.

Some reports are doing the rounds that “Fauzi” will not be targeting a Sankranthi release or any time soon. They are expecting that the film will be hitting cinemas either in Summer or a bit later. That means it has to come around the time of “Spirit”, which is supposed to hit cinemas on March 5, 2027. If “Fauzi” is moving into that space, then surely Spirit has to back off.

While Sandeep Reddy Vanga is hellbent on releasing the film “Spirit” on March 5th, it surely looks like that is not possible even if the shooting gets wrapped. Also, with Prabhas likely to give more time to Fauzi until January, there is no scope for Spirit to hit cinemas on the said date. That means Spirit has to move to the second half or the end of 2027 without any second thoughts. Surely that is a shocker.
