If Prabhas Comes On Time, It’s New Record

Back in the day, big stars like Krishna and Nageswara Rao used to come up with nearly 5-6 films in a year at one point in time. Later, during the Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna prime era, they used to come up with atleast 2-3 movies in a year. For every big festival, big heroes used to rock the screens. But now, coming up with 1 film a year is a myth, while big heroes are taking 2-3 years for single projects. That’s happening due to the pan-India bug anyway.

However, just 11 months after The Raja Saab release, in the same calendar year of 2026, Superstar Prabhas is now coming up with “Fauzi” on December 3rd. While trade talk is that the film still has almost 100 days of shoot to be wrapped, the team is exuding confidence that they will come on time. Then, we have Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who is promising that “Spirit” will also hit cinemas in March 2027 as planned. That means, in another 4-month gap from Fauzi, Prabhas will come up with another film.

Well, it looks like the huge time that was wasted between The Raja Saab release and Kalki 2898 AD release is adding up now. And it Prabhas comes up with three films in such a short gap, surely that’s thrilling for the trade circuits. However, Prabhas has to score only blockbusters with every film, as back-to-back movies in theatres will surely lower their potential to collect more if they get average talk. If a hero is not visible for years, movie lovers might invest in him even for an average fare.
