Kalki 2: Nag Ashwin Drops Major Bomb

For a long time, everyone has been thinking that “Kalki 2898 AD: Chapter 2” shooting got started and wrapped some major portions. It was believed that the likes of Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan have joined forces and wrapped some key sequences. But what’s the real truth behind the film getting ready?

In fact, Kalki 2 director Nag Ashwin himself shocked everyone with a shocking update. At an event, the director told the audience that they have shot only 10 days of Kalki 2 so far, nothing more than that. He also added that the dates of Prabhas are not available right now, and he doesn’t know when he will get to shoot the next.

This is a major bomb, because with Nag Ashwin himself clarifying that Kalki 2 is not on track anytime soon, surely we cannot assume that the film is hitting cinemas in 2027. With Prabhas having to finish and promote Fauzi, and then get back to Spirit, which is set for a March 2027 release, surely Prabhas might not join the Kalki 2 sets until then.
