Prabhas’s Costly Project, But Madness Needed!

Prabhas is one of the biggest superstar in Indian cinema at the moment, and he has an interesting project in the making in the form of Kalki 2. The first part was a reasonable success at the ticket counters, but it is not a cultural or commercial phenomenon.

So the natural expectation on the second part of Kalki is the Director Nag Ashwin will have to dream bigger and execute a more commercially stable project this time.

Shooting for the second part has started already with Kamal Haasan and Amitabh shooting for a significant portion till now. But has not joined till now, and he is expected to do in the first week of May.

Crucial challenge for Ashwin here is going to be to make sure that the second part has adequate commercial sequences involving Prabhas as this is what is expected of him.

In accordance with this, the latest development are suggesting that is going to be seen in multiple new avatars in this film, apart from Kalki and Bhairava. This new avatar is expected to do the heavy lifting for the film as something new and fresh is expected from the film this time around.

But there is another important point that must be noted here, and this is that the first part was a success amongst the family audience and children. So the second part will naturally have a long run at the ticket counter, if the word of mouth is positive enough. This should be a crucial factor working in favour of the film.
