Raja Saab Bollywood Release: What Are Promotional Plans?

With Superstar Prabhas’ Raja Saab gearing up for a grand pan-India release, attention has now shifted to its Bollywood promotions, especially in Mumbai. Many are wondering what kind of promotions the team is likely to take up as producer, People Media Factory, is known for their Mumbai promotions, after they did terrifically with Mirai promotions earlier.

Given Prabhas’ massive Hindi-belt following post Baahubali, Saaho, Adipurush and Salaar, expectations are high on how the makers plan to position Raja Saab for North Indian audiences. As the film happens to be a horror fantasy comedy, surely it will have huge takers in the North belt. That’s the reason trade circles are keen to know whether the promotions will be limited to media interactions or if a full-fledged Mumbai event with Prabhas in attendance is on the cards.

While curated interviews with leading Hindi media to a controlled press meet featuring Prabhas, director Maruthi and the three beauties, including Nidhie, Malavika and Riddhi are a possibility, currently there is no clarity over this. But speculations are rife that Prabhas has gone on a brief New Year holiday, taking a short break from his packed schedule. So the Mumbai promotions depend heavily on Prabhas’ availability.

Bankrolled by TG Vishwa Prasad and directed by Maruthi, Prabhas’ Raja Saab is hitting cinemas on January 9th as the first-ever Sankranthi treat for the whole of India.
