Tollywood @ Dasara: Star Hero Vs Senior Hero!

The Dasara festival season is usually a very lucrative one for the Telugu film industry as our films generally tend to do well during the auspicious Dasara season. This trend was observed many times in the past as many films that have released during the festival season have worked wonderfully at the box office.

The latest update regarding the coming Dasara season is suggesting that we could be witnessing a box of clash between a star Hero and a senior hero this festival season. Going by the latest developments, we could be witnessing head on clash between Prabhas and Nandamuri Balakrishna Dasara festival season.

Apparently, the makers of Prabhas Maruti’s upcoming film Raja Saab are contemplating the idea of releasing the film this Dasara. This film was originally scheduled to release this April 10, but this plan got postponed due to the delay in VFX production. So the makers are now contemplating Dasara 2025 release.

On the other hand, we have Nandamuri Balakrishna, who had already laid his chief on the Dasara season for his upcoming film Akhanda 2. The shooting is happening at a satisfactory rate, and hence this film could will be releasing on time during the Dasara season.

Factually speaking, if any other film of Balakrishna released directly in class with Prabhas, then who would have found it extremely hard to sustain at the box office. But with Akhanda 2 being a sequel, and marking the collaboration of Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu, this film has a real chance, this Dara season.

For now, this is a very tentative clash that is on cards, and we have to wait and see how things actually shape up for these two films.
