How much money Prabhas took for Kannappa?

It is already known that Manchu Vishnu managed to pull off a casting coop for his upcoming film Kannappa, which happens to be the costliest film in his career by a fair distance. While promoting the film ahead of its release on April 25, Vishnu has revealed an interesting bit of information about the same.

Vishnu revealed that Prabhas did not take a single rupee remuneration for Kannappa, and he was so gracious enough to happily join the shoot without taking any remuneration.

Manchu Hero stated that Prabhas and Malayalam superstar, Mohanlal did not take any remuneration for this film, and they were absolute gentlemen about it.

Vishnu stated that both Prabhas and Mohanlal share a very good relationship with Manchu Mohan Babu and also the entire Mohan Babu family. He added that these two superstars valued their friendship with the Manchu family, more than anything, and that is the reason why they did not take any remuneration when I asked to work on this film.

It is interesting to note that Prabhas is one of the top paid actors in the country, but he still found the tenacity to value friendship over everything, and that is the reason why he could have worked on this film without taking a single remuneration. Even Malayalam superstar, Mohanlal must be appreciated for valuing friendship above all else and doing this film free of cost.

Vishnu further revealed that this film costed him a total of ₹120 crore. He says this is by far the costliest attempt in his career, and he has virtually everything at stake here. This film is now preparing for theatrical release on April 25.
