Spirit Team Puts Down ‘Release Day’ Rumours

March 5th, 2027, is the date promised by director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who is now carving out Superstar Prabhas’ Spirit movie. Along with T-Series, the director also happens to be the producer of the film, and that proves how much he is involved in production and planning to make sure that a single penny never goes to waste. However, recently, rumours have come out that the film is now pushed to a December 2027 release.

Reacting to the same, the Spirit team condemned all the rumours of a date change for Prabhas' movie. Though, indeed, Prabhas hasn’t allocated dates for Spirit from January 2026 onwards, it was initially planned that he would be wrapping almost 30% of the movie before Summer itself. As Fauzi got delayed, Prabhas is giving first preference to that film, and then the second preference will be given to Spirit, while the dates will be given to Kalki 2898 AD Part 2 as well.

Because Kalki has lots of VFX work to be done, Prabhas will wrap those parts of Kalki first. And Fauzi got 75% wrapped already, so naturally, his dates will be available in two months from now, and he will allot bulk dates to Spirit from then. Meanwhile, Prabhas has already given a week of dates to Spirit from May 9th to check on the action sequences, and after a couple of days of prep, he will be taking part in the shoot too.
