Prabhas Defends Kalki's Big Budget Boom

In a recent interview, Prabhas emphasized the film's global aspirations. "Kalki" is designed to captivate audiences not just in India but across the world," he said. "This ambitious vision necessitates a high budget. We've assembled an incredible cast of Indian actors, and while the 'Pan-India Star' label doesn't define me, it certainly pleases the fans."
Director Nag Ashwin echoed Prabhas' sentiment, aiming to deliver an immersive experience. "Kalki's goal is to transport viewers to another world, akin to how 'Avatar' redefined cinematic landscapes," he explained. "The film's international appeal extends to its character names, which cater to a global audience."
The makers have confirmed that the film will release in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and several foreign languages, including English. The promotional campaign is in full swing, with a custom vehicle showcasing the film's visuals traversing various cities. The buzz surrounding the film further amplified with a special video featuring "Bujji" (a key vehicle) set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on May 31st.
Deepika Padukone joins Prabhas as the leading lady, while the star-studded cast includes legendary actors like Kamal Haasan (villain), Amitabh Bachchan, Pashupati, and Disha Patani in pivotal roles. With its grand vision and A-list cast, "Kalki" promises to be a cinematic spectacle not to be missed.
