Is Prabhas The Modern Lord Krishna In 'Kalki 2898 AD'?

The trailer of Prabhas and Nag Ashwin's 'Kalki 2898 AD' has left us with a lot of questions than the answers. We have understood that the kid growing inside Deepika Padukone is 'Kalki' and Amitabh aka Ashwatthama is their protector. Prabhas will be seen as Bhairava who is a bounty collector. But there are a lot of links that are expected to be tied in the film.

There is going to be a Mahabharat episode as shown in the trailer and it will be Ashwatthama's backstory. There are a lot of fan theories floating around and people who thought Prabhas is going to be Kalki were completely wrong. As per reports, he will be seen as lord Krishna's avatar in the film. Apparently, his role is going to be showcased as Krishna in modern days.

In the Mahabharat episode too, there might be a possibility of Prabhas appearing as lord Krishna as he will be the one to curse Ashwatthama and cause him all the injuries. We need to wait and see if this news turns out to be true or not. Amitabh Bachchan plays the role of Ashwattama while Prabhas will be seen as Bhairava. Deepika Padukone is playing one of the main leads as well.

Starring Prabhas in the lead, Nag Ashwin is directing this science-fiction thriller. Keerthy Suresh gave the voiceover for Bujji vehicle. Ashwini Dutt is the producer. Santosh Narayan is composing the music while Kamal Haasan is playing a key role as well. Disha Patani is a part of this film too and there is talk about Dulquer Salman making a guest appearance. There is a talk that Nani and Vijay Deverakonda will also be seen in this film.
