Prabhu Deva and Son Rishii Impress Fans with Dance Performance

Prabhu Deva known as India’s Michael Jackson recently performed on stage with his son Rishii Ragvendar Deva for the first time. The event took place at a live dance concert in Chennai, where the father-son duo showcased their skills.

A video from the event went viral, showing Prabhu Deva introducing Rishii to the audience. The young dancer impressed everyone with his energetic performance of Petta Rap, a popular song originally choreographed by his father. Fans quickly praised Rishii calling him a talented dancer who could follow in his father’s footsteps.

Prabhu Deva has had a remarkable career spanning over three decades. He has choreographed and acted in Tamil, Hindi, and Telugu films winning several National Film Awards. His unique dance style known for its intricate footwork and expressive eyes has influenced many dancers. He was also honored with the Padma Shri.

Beyond his professional success, Prabhu Deva’s personal life has seen many ups and downs. He was previously married to Ramlath, and they had three children. Sadly, their eldest son, Vishal, passed away in 2008 due to cancer. The couple later divorced. In 2020, during the COVID-19 lockdown, Prabhu Deva married Himani, a physiotherapist based in Mumbai. They welcomed a daughter in 2023.
