Pradeep Ranganathan to Star in Mythri Movie Makers' Upcoming Project

Pradeep gained widespread recognition with his 2022 film Love Today which is a romantic comedy that he both directed and starred in. The film produced by AGS Entertainment was made on a modest budget of ₹5 crore but became a massive success grossing approximately ₹100 crore worldwide.

Following this success, Pradeep took on the lead role in Dragon, a romantic comedy-drama directed by Ashwath Marimuthu. Released on February 21, 2025, Dragon opened to impressive box office numbers earning ₹6 crore on its first day. The plot centers on Ragavan Dhanapal, a bright student who turns rebellious after personal setbacks, a narrative that struck a chord with many viewers.

Recent reports suggest that Pradeep Ranganathan is set to collaborate with Mythri Movie Makers for an upcoming Telugu-Tamil bilingual film. This project will be directed by a debutant marking an exciting new chapter in Pradeep's career.

Meanwhile, Pradeep is also soon to be seen in Love Insurance Kompany, an upcoming Tamil-language science fiction romantic comedy directed by Vignesh Shivan.
