Dude Box Office Collection Day 2: Pradeep Ranganathan’s Film Crosses ₹45 Cr

Pradeep Ranganathan’s Tamil romantic action comedy Dude continues to perform strongly at the box office earning ₹45 crore worldwide in just two days despite stiff competition during the Diwali weekend.

The Tamil movie Dude starring Pradeep Ranganathan and Mamitha Baiju has made an impressive start at the box office. Directed by Keerthiswaran and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film collected around ₹45 crore worldwide within its first two days of release. The film hit theatres on October 17, 2025, marking Keerthiswaran’s directorial debut and Mythri Movie Makers’ second Tamil production.

According to the production team, Dude has been performing exceptionally well during the Diwali festive season. They described its box office run as “unstoppable” in their recent social media post, thanking fans for their overwhelming support. They also highlighted that Dude is currently the top-performing Indian movie among all Diwali releases worldwide.

The film revolves around Agan and Kuralarasi, fondly known as Kural, two close friends who run an event management company named Surprise Dude. Their friendship takes an unexpected turn after a personal revelation, leading to emotional challenges and family complications.

The film’s strong technical team played a major role in its success. The cinematography was handled by Niketh Bommi, and editing was done by Barath Vikraman. The music, composed by Sai Abhyankkar, adds a youthful and emotional vibe to the film.
