Why Is Pradeep Ranganathan Taking Direction Mantle Again?

Irrespective of the critical feedback, Tamil hero Pradeep Ranganathan is enjoying the attention and admiration of the audience, thanks to his back-to-back films that are churned out with issues that tackle Gen Z emotions.

After three blockbusters in a row, including Love Today, Dragon, and Dude, the talented young chap cemented his position as a bankable star in both Tamil and Telugu industries. Though he’s the one who crafted the film Love Today, the actor handed over the mantle of directing to others for his last two outings. While involved in the screenplay writing, he hasn’t had his hands inked with other creative jobs. But now, reports are coming that Pradeep is back at his favourite director's chair.

Known for his Gen Z centric short films, which he directed and acted as a lead, Pradeep first made his debut as a director with Jayam Ravi’s Comali movie.Multiple delays of that film finally led him to do a small film, which saw him as a lead actor too. While he delivered blockbusters with love-centric narratives, it’s now coming out that his next directorial will be a science fiction film. Kollywood is buzzing that somewhat newest stories and quirkiest films aren't coming his way, and hence the hero himself decided to craft one.

Coming to his immediate release, for reasons unknown, Pradeep’s upcoming film Love Insurance Korporation, directed by Vignesh Shivan, postponed twice already. Featuring Kriti Shetty as the leading lady, the film’s songs have turned heads, and the actor is hoping that LIK will continue his hit streak.
