“Don’t Criticise Vijay So Soon”: Prakash Raj Reacts to CM Meeting Ajith in Britain

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and actor Vijay’s recent visit to Britain has become a topic of discussion in political and film circles. During his visit, Vijay attended the Le Mans race at the famous Silverstone racing track. He also met actor Ajith Kumar, who was participating in the race with his team.

Pictures and videos of Vijay meeting Ajith and hugging him at the racing track quickly went viral on social media. Some opposition leaders and critics questioned Vijay’s foreign visit, especially since he has been in office for only a short period.

Actor Prakash Raj has now reacted to the controversy. He said people should not be in a hurry to judge Vijay’s government. Speaking at an event in Tiruchirappalli, Prakash Raj said that Vijay should be given enough time to prove his work as Chief Minister.

"Vijay is the Chief Minister not only for the people who voted for him but also for those who did not vote for him. It has been only 120 days since the government came to power. So, it is not right to form an opinion now. He should be given at least one year to analyse his performance," Prakash Raj said.

He also revealed that he had some doubts about Vijay’s political decisions before the elections. However, the people voted for Vijay and gave him the responsibility of running the government.

Prakash Raj said he would question the government if its performance was not satisfactory even after one year. He also said that he was waiting for the government’s first budget before making any strong judgement.

Speaking about Vijay meeting Ajith in Britain, Prakash Raj said there was nothing wrong with the meeting.

"There is nothing wrong in Vijay going abroad and meeting his friend Ajith. The important thing is whether the purpose of the visit was achieved or not. Vijay himself said that the visit helped bring investments worth thousands of crores to Tamil Nadu. So, there is no need to criticise him in a hurry," he said.

Vijay and Ajith’s meeting at Silverstone received a huge response from fans. Vijay was seen running towards Ajith and giving him a warm hug. Their meeting became one of the most discussed moments from the event.

Vijay was accompanied by actress Trisha and TVK leader Aadhav Arjuna during the visit. Ajith, meanwhile, continues to focus on his film career and racing activities.
