Veteran actor Prakash Raj has strongly reacted to the recent ridiculous comments made by actor Shivaji, regarding the dressing sense of heroines at events. During a press interaction, the versatile senior actor labelled Shivaji’s comments as arrogant, outdated and harmful to society’s progress. Here’s more of what he said.

Addressing the controversy, Prakash Raj didn’t hold back, but commented that Shivaji spoke rubbish and commenting about women’s personal choices are not only inappropriate but also reflective of a mindset that fails to understand basic respect, dignity and individual freedom. He stated that the comments made by Shivaji are an insult to the principles of equality and personal liberty that modern society strives to uphold.

Prakash Raj highlighted how societal progress depends on respective individual choices and dismantling stereotypes. He stated that it’s men who have been doing gross injustice to women with their actions for thousands of years. He also added that supporting Anasuya in this fiasco would come naturally to him, as men should always support women.
