4 Non-Telugu Films Occupy Prasads Top 10 List!

Prasads Multiplex may not be the biggest and the best movie screens in Hyderabad right now but it is still the most popular and the most charismatic. The atmosphere around this multiplex every day is something extraordinary and the euphoria every Friday is nothing short of fantastic. They released a list of Top 10 films which had the most ticket sales in 2023.

While it is Prabhas' 'Salaar' which arrived on 22nd December that held the first position due to hype and expectations, it is Christopher Nolan's 'Oppenheimer' that stood second. The third place is occupied by Shah Rukh Khan's commercial potboiler 'Jawan' while it is Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Ranbir Kapoor's 'Animal' that is in the fourth position.

Despite being pan-Indian films, the audience preferred watching the original Hindi versions of 'Jawan' and 'Animal' more at Prasads rather than the dubbed version in Telugu. The rest of the list includes 'Adipurush', 'Dasara', 'Mission Impossible', 'Virupaksha', 'Jailer' and 'Hi Nanna'.

Out of the ten, we have two English movies like 'Oppenheimer' and 'Mission Impossible' along with two Hindi movies 'Jawan' and 'Animal' finding a place. Though 'Jailer' is a Tamil film, a lot of people watched the Telugu dubbed version due to Rajni's craze. This clearly shows the movie landscape in cosmopolitan city as they are ready to embrace films from all over and even give first preference to other language films instead of regular Telugu content if needed.
