Prasanth Varma’s Raka: Will Prabhas Say Yes!

After the tremendous success of Hanuman, it appears that Prashanth Verma is in the eye of several top stars in Telugu cinema. It is being reported that he has even opened talks with superstar Prabhas for one of his upcoming projects.

According to the latest reports, Prasanth Varma, who gained huge fame with Hanu-Man, is now preparing to team up with superstar Prabhas for a massive new project.

Prabhas is already busy with several big films like The Raja Saab, Fauji, Spirit, along with the sequels to Salaar and Kalki. Even with this packed schedule, he is expected to work with Varma on a unique mythological story.

The film is said to be titled Raka, inspired by the legend of Bakasura. It is part of Prasanth Varma’s own cinematic universe, known as PVCU, and will be produced by Hombale Films, who also have a three-film deal with Prabhas. Actress Bhagyashri Borse is being considered as the female lead.

At SIIMA 2025 in Dubai, Prasanth Varma called this collaboration his “most rebellious project.” He revealed that the film will start shooting once Prabhas gives his dates. Fans are excited to see how Prabhas will manage this film along with his other commitments, as each of his projects is already on a massive scale.

With Prasanth Varma’s creative storytelling and Prabhas’ pan-India stardom, this project is expected to be one of the most talked-about films in the coming years.
