Indian cinema has always seen a mix of genres - from slow-burn family dramas to high-speed thrillers. But there’s no denying that director Prashanth Neel has changed the way mass stories are told. With his unique editing style, layered storytelling, and his signature front-and-back narrative techniques, Neel created a whole new cinematic experience with KGF 1, KGF 2, and Salaar, setting new benchmarks for action films.

Despite his groundbreaking success, Prashanth Neel has been crystal clear about his purpose in the film industry. Speaking in a recent interview, Neel openly admitted that his primary goal was never to bring change - it was survival. “If someone gives me the chance, I can make films like Inception. If they ask me to make a family entertainer, I can do something like Hum Aapke Hain Kaun. But I know what brings in the money. I didn’t come here to change cinema. I came to survive and earn my living,” Neel said bluntly.

Neel also explained why his films with stars like Yash, Prabhas, and NTR are always mass-loaded action spectacles. “When you work with these kinds of heroes, you have to deliver larger-than-life action. You can’t make soft love stories with them. The audience expects fire, explosions, and power-packed scenes — and that’s what I give them,” he added, making his formula for success crystal clear.

Currently, Neel is busy with his next massive project Dragon, starring NTR, under Mythri Movie Makers. With rumors of Rukmini Vasanth playing the female lead, the film is already generating serious hype. As always, fans can expect a larger-than-life cinematic feast, crafted by a director who knows exactly what works — not to change the game, but to win it.
