Mahakali Aigiri Nandini: A devotional masterpiece
Prashanth Varma's PVCU film Mahakali has unveiled its recreated Aigiri Nandini song. Composed by Smaran Sai and sung by Anila Rajeev, Geetha Madhuri and Sai Charan, the devotional track has impressed listeners. Directed by Puja Kolluri, the film stars Bhumi Shetty, Akshaye Khanna, Sriya Reddy and Khushbu Sundar. The pan-India film is set to release on January 8.

Prashanth Varma created a spectacular mythological cinematic universe, PVCU. After a blockbuster like HanuMan, he is bringing Mahakali - a celebration of woman power - Shakti. Based on the rise of Asuras in modern world under the guidance of Guru Shukracharyaa, the movie narrates story of devotional and spiritual awakening.
Directed by Puja Kolluri and produced by RKD Studios on a massive scale, the movie glimpse and teaser has created huge anticipation with "Pedamma Chusthondi ra" tagline and ground-breaking visuals. Now, they have released the Aigiri Nandini recreation single from the film.
Music composer Smaran Sai came up with a solid devotional version that it instantly evokes devotion towards Devi Mahakali. Traditionally written and composed by Adi Shankaracharya, the song immediately connects with devotees and Anila Rajeev, Geetha Madhuri, Sai Charan have rendered it powerfully, with great intensity.
The emotional version proves that it is used at the right time in the screenplay to give goosebumps. Visually, the song promises to be one of the biggest highlights of the film. Bhumi Shetty is playing leading role with Akshaye Khanna, Sriya Reddy, Khushbu Sundar in prominent roles. With an amazing rendition and visual appeal, Mahakali grows anticipation to watch the Pan-India film in theatres upon release on 8th January.
