Veteran Malayalam actor and regional superstar, Prithviraj Sukumaran entertained the Telugu audience with his astounding presence in Salaar. He is now in consideration for Mahesh Babu’s upcoming film with Rajamouli, which is one of the most anticipated projects in Indian Cinema.

In his latest interaction with the media, this well established Malayalam star was asked about his upcoming films in Telugu as there have been reports that he is in consideration for Rajamouli’s film.

Prithviraj stated that there is a lot of media speculation and social media discussion going on about his presence in the SSMB-SSR project. “I feel social media knows more than me when it comes to this particular film. There is so much discussion happening around the same. At an official capacity, all I can say for now is that everything about this project is still in very early stages of discussion and I cannot reveal more than that for the time being.”

He kept his statement on the Rajamouli film, very generic and brief, which is perhaps understandable, considering that Rajamouli does not like his actors to speak about his films before the official announcement.

About the kindly anticipated Salaar 2, Prithviraj said that this film will definitely happen in the near future and revealed that Prashanth is currently occupied with the film with NTR, and once that is done, he will move back to Salaar 2.

When asked about Prabhas, Prithviraj said he doesn’t think Prabhas fully understands his own superstardom as that’s how humble he is by nature. “I have learnt a lot from Prabhas while we were working together, and I really hope that I get the chance to work with him again in the near future.”
