Priyadarshi reveals that director Ram Jagadeesh first narrated the basic plot to him nearly two years ago and spent six months completing the script.
"When I was in Goa filming Hi Nanna with Nani, I told him about this story, and Nani expressed interest in hearing it. After listening to it, Nani confirmed that we were moving forward with it. That’s how the movie came to be."
Priyadarshi shared the extensive research he did for his role. "I consulted with lawyers to learn about cases, such as POCSO, and the related punishments. I also observed how real lawyers and judges behave in court—what they wear, their mannerisms, and their language. I paid attention to every detail to make the character as realistic as possible."
He also revealed their plans to screen the film for lawyers. "We are planning to show it to some lawyers and members of the Bar Council. We've already received positive feedback from some Bar Council members, and we also plan to invite the Advocate General, Sudarshan Reddy, to watch the film."
Priyadarshi shared his thoughts on Nani’s comments at the pre-release event. "It shows Nani’s confidence in the story. He is a credible and reliable actor who carefully selects his scripts. After hearing the story, Nani said, 'We have a good story here; let’s make it great.' After watching the film, he admitted, 'I thought something else, but it turned out really well.'"
Priyadarshi is optimistic that Court will not only be critically appreciated but will also emerge as a commercial hit.
