Priyadarshi, who rose to fame with his iconic dialogue “Naa saavu nenu sasta, nikenduku?” from Pellichoopulu, has been delivering back-to-back successful projects. From the emotional hit Balagam to the popular series Save the Tiger, his career graph has been on an upward trajectory. However, his recent film Darlings, co-starring Nabha Natesh, failed to make an impact at the box office. Despite the setback, Priyadarshi is gearing up for his next film, Court, which he believes will bring something fresh to audiences.

Priyadarshi stressed that the goal of the Court is to be as realistic as feasible. "That is all we shall display. I do not think I am the movie's protagonist. He clarified that each character is essential to the plot and that the movie would not function without any of them. His strategy demonstrates his dedication to group storytelling as opposed to concentrating only on star power.

Priyadarshi acknowledged the hard realities of the industry when considering Darlings' failure. "I am not a famous person. Just because my poster is out does not mean that my films sell tickets. People will see my film if it is good. If not, they won't," he acknowledged. The actor learned from Darlings' poor performance to put a higher value on compelling narratives and solid scripts. According to him, making meaningful films that engage viewers is more important for success than achieving overnight stardom.

Priyadarshi discussed how movies like Mallesham and Balagam appealed to him due to their distinctive stories, giving examples from his previous work. Additionally, he talked about how excited he was to play a commercial hero in Mangalavaram, where he did his own stunts. He stated, "I liked it," demonstrating his openness to trying out new genres. With Court approaching, Priyadarshi is committed to making a comeback and making sure that every movie he selects advances his acting career.
