Fast forward to 2026, she’s gearing up for Varanasi with superstar Mahesh Babu and SS Rajamouli. And yes, she’s been promoting it like a pro, giving fans plenty to talk about.
But Priyanka isn’t just about acting. Her production company, Purple Pebble Pictures, has been quietly making waves since 2016. The company has produced films, TV shows, and ads. This year, she’s co-producing English movies The Bluff and Anuja, and has backed meaningful Hindi films like The Sky Is Pink. Clearly, she likes stories with heart.
In a recent chat, she got candid about her journey. “When I started, I had no clue which films to pick. I said yes to everything. At 20, I just wanted to keep working. Missed birthdays, missed time with my dad during his last days. Twenty years of hard work brought me here,” she said.
On juggling acting and producing, she added, “Wearing two hats is tricky. Sometimes it feels like my brain is split in two. As an actress, I push myself, action, comedy, drama. As a producer, I focus on new directors, stories that move people. I want to give chances to voices that might not get them otherwise.”
Priyanka continues to stretch her horizons, balancing Hollywood, Bollywood, and Telugu films, all while helping fresh filmmaking talent. With Varanasi and Purple Pebble Pictures, she’s proving she’s just as powerful behind the camera as she is in front of it.
