Rajamouli is currently collaborating with Mahesh Babu for his upcoming project Varanasi which is currently in the production stage now. This happens to be one of the highest budget projects in the making in Indian cinema and the stakes are high on the same.

Meanwhile, the discussion has started about the female lead in the film, which is played by Priyanka Chopra as they have been settled speculations regarding the same.

It is being extensively reported that Priyanka Chopra has been approached by the makers of Kalki to play the female lead character in the sequel of the film. This comes after the exit of another Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone, who has been axed out of this project.

While speculations about Priyanka Chopra being a part of Kalki 2, simultaneously along with the Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu Project Varanasi have been going viral. It is now being established that there is no truth in the same.

Apparently, there is no truth in the speculation about Priyanka being a part of Kalki as she has signed an agreement that would exclusively limit her to this Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu project. There is no chance or scope for doing another project in the meanwhile.

Priyanka is also fully committed to completing this project at the earliest based on the shooting schedule prepared by the team, and there are no thoughts about any further collaborations in the immediate future.

Rajamouli has this habit of locking his actors for his project for elongated period of time, and he said to be following the same formula for this Varanasi as well.
