Priyanka Chopra’s Dubbing, Isn’t It Too Early?

Well, until she signed “Varanasi”, which happens to be an SS Rajamouli movie, Priyanka Chopra was almost out of Bollywood too. Though she is doing some Hollywood movies and some Hindi films now and then, she lost her stardom. Except for the Instagram following, the real stardom disappeared. However, after she signed this pan-India movie, it looks like the craze she is getting is next level.

The craze has reached to a point that people are now asking producer KL Narayana of Varanasi whether Priyanka Chopra will dub herself in Telugu or not. In both Hindi and English, surely Priyanka will be dubbing her part, but if she dubs in Telugu, then the movie might sound like a dubbed movie rather than a Telugu movie. However, when folks are expecting Priyanka Chopra to dub in Telugu, that sounds a little shocking.

On the other hand, there are a lot of actors in Varanasi who come from different tinsel towns and linguistic backgrounds. If they all keep dubbing themselves in Telugu, the film might not even look like a Telugu film in the first place. Though Rajamouli makes movies for pan-India, he loves to shoot things in Telugu only. We have to see what happens with the dubbing really, but then, with the release long away, it’s too early to talk about this.
