Producers & Buyers Becoming Greedy!

The mood of producers and buyers is changing just after two or three hits. The buyers are getting excited about buying the films while the producers are upping the rates heavily. But when the movie is nearing release, the buyers are stepping back. Due to this, they are forced to pay less or sell for less money.

An oora mass was quoted around 5 crores in the overseas market. But the director's previous films failed badly. Now, the makers are forced to release the film on their own. A lot of buyers in the overseas market are strategically maintaining silence and an overseas buyer is not even ready to give 2 crores for this film.

The movie is quoted 30 crores in the Andhra region but not many are showing interest which is why feelers are being sent that the rights can be bought for 25 crores itself.

The scene is different from some other movies. The buyers themselves are ready to give huge rates. While the producer is very happy, they are backing off at the time of release. Three crores were supposed to be paid in Uttarandhra and Guntur for a recent film. But it became very tough to get a crore and thirty lakhs at the end.

A period drama which is going to release soon was supposed to get 5 crores from overseas. With no one coming forward, the producers came down to 3.5 crores. We need to what happens next. People with regular buyer setups and who are producing films regularly are not facing many problems but the others are facing a lot of problems.
