Producers Getting Caught In The Middle Of Bunny & Sukumar!

It is almost certain that 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' is all set to get postponed. Already, 'Double Ismart' has occupied that date and even 'Stree 2' is releasing on August 15th. Apparently, the director Sukumar and his team took this decision. Apparently, Allu Arjun is not at all happy about it but is reportedly hesitant to speak out due to his relationship with the director.

Sources say that he is putting pressure on producers to push Sukumar to work quicker and finish the work as planned. Though there is a chance of Sukumar and team completing the film if they worked tirelessly, they feel that the output might get compromised. We have seen people complain about the quality in 'Pushpa: The Rise' when it was released and Sukumar doesn't want it to happen once again.

The producers have invested a lot on this movie and even closed all the business deals. They are worried about this postponement as they need to hold conversations with distributors all over again and explain the situation. Also, the delay leads to interest piling up on producers as well. The makers might have made a deal with the OTT platform that they can stream the film after 2-3 months of its theatrical release.

If the film itself gets postponed by three months, they need to convince the OTT platform who paid a hefty sum. The reshoots are also going to cost the producers even more and August 15th guaranteed them a long weekend. Even it is gone now and they need to adjust for a normal date this time. Looks like the producers will be going through a lot due to this postponement.
