Proud Moment Of Megastar Receiving The 'Padma Vibhushan'!

It was announced at the start of 2024 that Megastar Chiranjeevi is going to be honored with Padma Vibhushan award by the Indian government. It is the second biggest honour for an Indian citizen and it is a proud moment for every Telugu movie lover. His legendary journey over the past few decades and the amount of social service he has done in real life are what earned him this award.

The Mega family took off to Delhi on Wednesday and the legendary actor received the Padma Vibhushan award officially from the hands of Draupadi Murmu, the President of India. As Chiru walked up to the stage and received his medal, the entire crowd cheered and we can see his son Ram Charan and daughter-in-law clapping with a lot of pride. It is truly an incredible moment for the Mega family and Chiranjeevi who came as a nobody into the film industry and became one of the biggest names of Indian cinema.

Chiranjeevi is married to Surekha and they have two daughters and a son. Sushmita Konidela is a well-known costume designer for big films while the youngest daughter is named Sreeja Konidela. Chiranjeevi's son Ram Charan is one of the biggest stars in Tollywood who also enjoys a huge following across the nation. He also paved the way for many heroes from his family including his brother Pawan Kalyan, Icon Star Allu Arjun, Sai Dharam Tej, Varun Tej, Vaisshnav Tej and Allu Sirish.

Chiranjeevi established an eye bank and a blood bank through which many lives were saved. He helped a lot of people during the lockdown and he is one of the main pillars of Tollywood even today.
