Pushpa 2 Record: Still Unbeaten!

One of the South films that gave nightmares to Bollywood’s top producers and heroes is none other than Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2. The sequel to the superhit first part has raked up huge moolah, as it collected more than ₹1800+ crores gross from all the languages together, while it made more than ₹810+ crores from the Hindi version alone. Here’s the record we are talking about.

While Pushpa 2’s collections record is finally broken by Dhurandhar franchise movies, Bollywood top stars, however, haven’t endorsed that Ranveer Singh starrer in the first place. And now, another record that’s coming out is that Pushpa 2 happens to be the only film to cross ₹600 crore gross in India within its first 4 days. Released on December 5, 2024, the film still holds the record for the highest 4-day domestic gross in Indian cinema history, even after Dhurandhar’s massive strike earlier.

Though there is no other movie that has broken that record till now, earlier many thought that the likes of Ram Charan’s Peddi and YRF’s Alpha would outshine the record, but nothing such happened. Now that Yash’s Toxic is hitting cinemas by the end of August, many are wondering if this film would be able to break all the records of Pushpa 2 and Dhurandhar as well.
