Global Box Office: Where Is Pushpa 2 headed?

The advance bookings for Allu Arjun and Sukumar's Pushpa 2 have opened in a full-fledged manner and they are progressing on a fiery note. The film has opened particularly well in the pan-Indian belts with the Hindi bookings driving the trend.

The film has reportedly collected over Rs 60 crore gross in the pan-Indian belts thus far. Interestingly, the Telugu bookings and Hindi bookings are almost on par with the Telugu sales at Rs 16 crore and Hindi sales at Rs 14 crore. They have accumulated Rs 30 crore thus far.

The rest of the markets are also coming in to help Pushpa 2 big time as the film has added another Rs 30 crore from the other language markets including Kannada, Malayalam, and Tamil.

In total, the film has grossed Rs 60 crore India-wide thus far through the advance bookings. This tally might be reaching in excess of Rs 100 crore in the next couple of days.

The film is now locked in to have a massive theatrical advance and this could be a necessitated development given the kind of financial burden that is placed on the film with the massive business involved.
