Usually, there is a standing notion that films do not necessarily influence the society in any which way. A good film does not encourage social wellness and improve the social fabric, and at the same time, a violent film cannot instigate violence in real life.

However, head mistress associated with a high school in Yousufguda, Hyderabad has stated that films like Pushpa are negatively impacting the school students population.

The headmistress pointed out that half of the students in her school in Yusufguda, have been negatively affected by Pushpa as their attitude and behaviour have changed in accordance with this film. She was of the implication that students are getting negatively impacted by such films, which have strong antisocial elements.

Not stopping there, she further pressurised the government of India to take necessary measures against such films which can potentially impact the thinking methodology of students.

She claimed that nearly half of the population of students in her school are coming with unique and peculiar mannerisms after having watched Pushpa as their hairstyles and also talking styles have changed largely due to this film.

The academic Pioneer was of the strong opinion that certain measures must be taken against such films which can adversely affect the society and also the student sociology. This is not a concrete evidence requisite enough to impose any sort of regulations on films, she certainly had a strong point to make here.

It has to be seen if the education department or concerned government authorities will take serious note of this matter and impose adequate restrictions on the kind of filmmaking that is in effect now.
