Official: Sankranthi Ki sarikottaga Pushpa Raj, Thaggede le

The makers of the second part of Pushpa have finally made the big announcement on the 20 minutes additional footage that is being added to the theatrical print of the film. An official communication to this effect was made a short while back.

What this essentially means is that the theatrical print of Pushpa 2 will be elongated by 20 minutes of additional footage that is being added to the final copy.

This additional print will be attached to the incumbent theatrical copy from January 11. The makers have stated that this reloaded version of Pushpa will be screening in theatres from January 11, marking the auspicious occasion of the Sankranti festival season.

Factually speaking, this additional footage was supposed to be added to the final copy, right from the Christmas or New Year occasion. However, the makers held back the same and waited for the right occasion.

Now the official communication is out, and it confirms that the theatrical print of Pushpa will be elongated by 20 minutes with additional footage in either halves. This confirms that the film will now have a runtime of 3 hours 41 minutes.

However, the point to be noted here is that Tollywood has multiple films lined up for Sankranti. Game Changer, Sankranthiki Vastunnam and Daku Maharaj are on the list. So it will anyway be hard to find theatres for the Allu Arjun film to screen this additional footage. But nevertheless, the additional print will also be attached to the OTT version, which will stream on Netflix starting soon.
