Curious Case of Pushpa 3 Becoming a Reality

Before the release of Pushpa-2, it was widely known that the film would be followed by Pushpa-3: The Rampage. This naturally led to the expectation that the climax of Pushpa-2 would deliver a thrilling twist. However, the critics argue that Pushpa-2, despite its lengthy runtime of 3 hours and 20 minutes, focuses more on elevations and spectacle while offering minimal story.

Now, it left many questions of what Pushpa-3 will actually showcase. Sukumar has intentionally held back significant elements for the third installment. Some of the scenes teased in the trailer didn’t even make it into the final cut of the film.

Several characters were introduced and left hanging, and the movie concluded with the title reveal, Part-3: The Rampage. However, the supposed twist leading to Part-3 failed to leave a strong impression. That said, the decision to announce Part-3 seems driven more by the franchise's popularity than by narrative necessity.

Practically speaking, it seems unlikely that Pushpa-3 will release anytime in the next four years.

This delay is compounded by Allu Arjun’s commitment to a much larger project with Trivikram Srinivas. With an unlimited budget and no fixed deadlines, this project will demand significant time and effort.

On the other hand, Sukumar himself is gearing up to collaborate with Ram Charan for his next venture, which will likely keep him occupied for at least two years.
