Cinema theatre managements are usually very restrictive when it comes to the kind of food items that are allowed inside their premises. But for a change, PVR Inox has introduced a new dining facility inside their new property in Bengaluru.

PVR INOX has introduced a unique dining-cinema concept by converting one of its screens in Bengaluru’s M5 City Mall into a full-fledged restaurant-style theater.

This innovative setup allows audiences to enjoy both food and film at the same time. Instead of the usual theater seats, viewers are seated around dining tables, making it feel like a restaurant experience inside a movie hall.

The idea has received great interest from the public. Ticket prices are slightly higher than usual, with packages costing ₹1,340 for four people, ₹820 for three, and ₹740 for two, excluding booking charges. Despite the premium pricing, most shows are getting sold out, proving that audiences are eager for new entertainment formats.

PVR INOX plans to expand this concept to about five locations across India, depending on its success in Bengaluru. While some critics believe dining during a movie could distract viewers, others see it as a refreshing and social way to enjoy cinema with friends or family.

This initiative reflects the company’s effort to reinvent the movie-going experience by merging comfort, food, and entertainment into one space, creating a perfect blend of leisure and luxury for modern audiences.
