Raashi Khanna Supports Glamour, Backs Harish!

Juggling between films, OTT and various tinsel towns, finally Raashi Khanna has found a movie in Telugu, and that’s none other than Pawan Kalyan’s Ustaad Bhagat Singh. And she has portrayed a bit of a glamorous role in the movie, for which the actress is feeling quite happy. Though Raashi has done more glamour than Ustaad, many are asking her why she would indulge in such hotness rather than do some artistic roles. Here’s her answer for them.

Raashi clarified that director Harish Shankar clearly told her that the role in Ustaad Bhagat Singh requires glamour, including wearing shorts and skirts. “Because of the trust I have in Harish Shankar’s vision, I’ve agreed to do this role,” she said, adding, “It’s a woman’s choice to wear whatever she wants and whatever she’s comfortable in, but who are these random people to have a problem with that?” She added that it’s her wish to wear Indian wear or western clothing, and no one would interfere in that decision.

Apparently, Raashi is throwing a punch at a couple of other detractors who have made a lot of comments on how heroines should dress at public events and other places. At the same time, with Harish Shankar getting targeted for Bhagyashree Bhorse’s glamorous treat in Mr Bachhan, surely Raashi knows that she would come under the scanner now. The level of glamour she portrayed in Ustaad is not known, but surely it looks like Raashi has the answers already, ready!
