Raashii Khanna Joins Ustaad Bhagat Singh Without Reading the Script

Raashii Khanna, who is gearing up for her big Bollywood film 120 Bahadur starring Farhan Akhtar, has been busy promoting the movie. But more than 120 Bahadur, she ended up talking about her upcoming Telugu film Ustaad Bhagat Singh with Powerstar Pawan Kalyan, directed by Harish Shankar. Along with Raashii, Sreeleela is also playing a lead role in the film.

Raashii revealed that she signed the movie without even listening to the script.

“This is the only film I signed without hearing the script. I said yes because it’s Pawan garu’s film. I always wanted to work with him because of the huge stardom he carries. I know it’s his film and I’m just a part of it, and I’m fine with that. Sometimes you do commercial films for the scale and the reach,” she said.

Talking about working with Pawan Kalyan, she added, “I love that he is very respectful towards women. He also has so much love for people in general. I realised he’s a larger-than-life man who is also a very good actor.”

This is not unusual, as many actors are huge fans of Pawan Kalyan. Earlier, even Jr. NTR and Ram Charan said they signed RRR without hearing the script, simply because of their respect and admiration for the people involved.

Ustaad Bhagat Singh has completed its shoot and is now in post-production. The film is expected to release next year, before summer.
