Despite the mixed talk, Ajay Devgn's 'Shaitaan' got good collections at the box office. This horror thriller collected over 80 crores in its first week which is quite huge. However, this movie did not attract the mass audience and the families. Everyone hoped that Siddharth Malhotra's action flick 'Yodha' would attract the youth and family audiences alike. The hero's craze and Dharma Productions banner made the buyers put a lot of trust on this project.

Bubbly girl Raashi Khanna and glamorous lady Disha Patani are the heroines in this movie. Raashi pinned a lot of hopes on this project. Her future in Bollywood rests on this film's verdict. But the response to this film is not at all encouraging and it is expected to be a failure according to trade analysts.

Going into the story, Task Force Commander Arun Katiyal (Siddharth Malhotra) is known for his aggressive approach to everything. His wife Priyampada (Raashi Khanna) does a central government job. During a mission, Arun's mistake leads to the death of an important scientist. He leaves his job and takes a flight from Delhi to London. The terrorists hijack this flight and try to get their demands by using Arun. What does the hero do after that in order to protect the people around him forms the rest of the story.

Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha have jointly directed this movie. Barring a few action sequences, the rest of the movie doesn't thrill you. The track between Siddharth and Raashi is quite routine but Disha's character comes as a big surprise. The director duo wanted to thrill the audience with a hijack movie like 'Gaganam' but the screenplay lacks grip and the second half is highly predictable. The theatre owners have already kept 1+1 ticket offers in some places which explains a lot.
