Hollywood Folks Making Inroads To Telugu Films

These are days when lots of Bollywood and Tamil actors are always on the go to get into Tollywood movies. And now, some Hollywood actors are part of Telugu films. Commenting on this phenomenon, director Rahul Sankrityan stated that very soon all the lines between Hollywood and Tollywood will be blurred.

“When we are searching for a Hollywood actor for Ranabaali movie, I used to find about all the actors who we have seen them as villains in our childhoods. At that time, when we approached

Arnold Vosloo, the actor who is popular for movies like The Mummy, his team immediately responded. When I wrote an email to “The Motorcycle Diaries” cinematographer, he too responded. Hollywood people are ready to jump into Telugu movies now. In the next 2-3 years, Hollywood and the Telugu industry will be working together, maybe due to the Varanasi effect,” says Rahul, adding that very soon lots of Hollywood technicians will be here.

On the other hand, already we have Mahanati and Pushpa cinematographers coming from abroad; then we have foreign action designers and VFX artists working on movies like Raaka, then a Hollywood makeup team working for Indian 2 and more. But if Varanasi clicks, who knows, many other Hollywood folks might really come to the Telugu industry.
