The Telugu box office is reinventing itself with multiple new films, arriving at the ticket counters this weekend. We have the likes of Retro, HIT 3, Raid 2 and others that released this weekend.

Now that all the films are up and running at the box office, let us have a look at the ticket booking trend that is being exhibited by each of these films.

BookMyShow Tickets Sold in the Last 24 Hours:

Raid 2 (Day 1) – 279,200

HIT 3 (Day 1) – 272,959

Thudarum (Day 7) – 257,930

Retro (Day 1) – 233,520

Tourist Family (Day 1) – 45,850

Kesari Chapter 2 (Day 14) – 31,080

It can be noted. Here is that Bollywood stars Ajay Devgn is leading the list with his latest film Raid 2. This film is showing an extraordinary growth rate at the box office, and that is always expected, considering the fact that it is a sequel.

Then we have Nani, who also arrived at the box office with his adult rated HIT 3. This film has also opened at a strong note at the box office, and this is largely due to the vacuum that has been created through the lack of big films in the recent past.

Then it can be noted that Malayalam superstar, Mohanlal is doing mass batting with his latest film Thudarum. It is still going strong, even on its seventh day on the box office.

Lastly, we can come to Suriya’s Retro which released yesterday, and this film is also doing recently at the box office.

It is good to note that almost all of the new films that I have arrived at the box office this weekend have been able to generate at least decent revenues at the ticket counter.
