Raj R’s “23” Trailer: Intense n Impactful

Renowned director Raj R. of Mallesham and 8 A.M. Metro has chosen another intriguing subject based on real-life incidents for his next outing “23”. Teja and Tanmayee played the lead roles in the movie produced by Studio 99 and presented by Spirit Media, led by Rana Daggubati.

The trailer, launched today, unveils a complex story shaped by three real and tragic events: the 1991 Tsunduru massacre, the 1993 Chilakaluripet bus fire, and the 1997 Jubilee Hills car bombing. Rather than treating these moments as standalone incidents, the movie connects them in a narrative that examines angst, prejudice, and the long shadow of violence.

Raj R shows his mark in narrating this gritty story, and what’s so impressive is every character gets registers and connects well. The movie is well supported by Sunny Kurapati’s raw cinematography and Mark K Robin’s intense score that further elevate the emotional gravity.

23 arrives in theatres on the 16th, and all signs point to another thought-provoking entry in Raj R.’s filmography.
