The Raja Saab Cast Remuneration: How Much Did Prabhas and Others Get Paid?

The Raja Saab, starring Prabhas in the lead role, was released in theatres on January 9, 2026. The film, directed by Maruthi, was promoted as a fantasy horror comedy and created good curiosity before release. However, after hitting the screens, the movie has been receiving mostly negative reviews from critics and audiences.

Many viewers felt that The Raja Saab failed to meet expectations, especially after the strong pre-release buzz. While Prabhas’ screen presence and effort were appreciated, several reviewers stated that his performance alone could not save the film.

Meanwhile as the movie reached audiences, there has been a lot of curiosity about how much the main cast earned for their roles.

According to reports, Prabhas received around Rs 100 crore as his remuneration for The Raja Saab. This amount has surprised many fans because Prabhas is usually paid close to Rs 150 crore per film. Industry talk suggests that the actor agreed to a lower fee to support the film’s budget and its unique genre.

Veteran actor Sanjay Dutt, who plays the important role of Kanakaraju, is said to have earned Rs 5 crore for the film, as per Times Now. Another senior actor, Boman Irani, reportedly took home Rs 1 crore for his role.

Among the female cast, Malavika Mohanan is said to have received Rs 2 crore. Nidhhi Agerwal reportedly earned Rs 1.5 crore, while Riddhi Kumar is believed to have been paid Rs 1 crore. Director Maruthi earlier revealed in an interview that he worked on the film for nearly three years and received around Rs 18 crore for his efforts.
