As mixed talk engulfed “Raja Saab” despite the ₹100 crores gross collection, there are various theories being floated as to why the film didn’t meet the expectations. Among Prabhas fans and trade circles, the widely believed sentiment is the so-called “R Sentiment” that’s not working in favour of the star hero. They say that the flop show of films like Raghavendra, Rebel, and Radhe Shyam has proven how strong the ‘R’ sentiment is, and now ‘Raja Saab’ just added to the catalogue.

This coincidence has sparked a debate earlier also, but after witnessing the result of Raja Saab, the steam picked up further. However, the makers of Raja Saab also got a taste of this sentimental talk it seems, that’s the reason they have added the word “The” in front of the title. However, not even the cast and crew of the film are addressing the movie as “The Raja Saab”, adding more belief to this ‘R-Sentiment’.

While some call it sentiment, and some call it superstition, and some say that it's a pattern, this has now caught the public eye. Only if Raja Saab hits the ball out of the park in the Sankranthi season, by collecting a gigantic revenue, will this curse be laid to rest.
