Will Spirit Save PMF-Prabhas Bonding Now!

One of the leading production houses in Telugu cinema People Media Factory have a strong bonding with Prabhas, which has been lasting for several films. Their latest collaboration is Raja Saab which released this Sankranthi.The second Monday has turned disastrous for The RajaSaab, with trade reports indicating a sharp and alarming collapse in collections across Telugu states. After a weak opening week, the film has now slipped into single digit occupancy in most centres, raising serious concerns for distributor PMF, which already carries the baggage of earlier losses.

PMF previously distributed Adipurush, one of the biggest financial setbacks in recent times, and also produced The RajaSaab. With two back to back disappointments, industry circles are now closely watching their reported investment in Spirit, the much anticipated film starring Prabhas and directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.

Trade analysts believe Spirit holds strong potential to recover PMF’s losses, provided the film meets expectations. The project carries massive hype due to its bold genre, powerful director actor combination, and Prabhas’s pan India reach. Advance buzz suggests Spirit could open to record numbers if the teaser and promotions strike the right chord.

However, recovery will largely depend on content. Given the changing audience mindset, star value alone may not be enough. If Spirit delivers a gripping narrative with repeat value, it could not only cover previous losses but also put PMF back on stable ground.
