Is Rajamouli The Only Director To Match Expectations?

After the tremendous success of the first part of Baahubali, the sky was the limit for the anticipation and hype on the second part. All of India was patiently asking the question Why Kattappa killed Baahubali?

With so much expectation riding on the film, Rajamouli needed to get it absolutely bang on point with the second part, and he certainly did the job. This was a tremendous feat to match the massive expectations that were riding on the sequel.

But it needs to be said that no other Director apart from Rajamouli has been able to deliver the expectations after Baahubali. There have been several films that released with massive expectations after this epic Baahubali, but neither of them could manage to meet the expectations.

There are several sequel films that released with sky, high anticipation and hype, and they have been able to generate substantial revenues at the box office as well. But none of them could truly live to their potential and generate a legacy as big as Baahubali did with Rajamouli.

Rajamouli is an absolute master of the craft and matching the sky high anticipation and answering the most important question in the Indian film industry was a Herculean task and he passed it with flying colours.

The likes of Pushpa 2, KGF 2 and others have been able to generate big revenues at the box office as well, but the kind of cinematic experience that Baahubali 2 delivered is unparalleled as well.
