Why Rajamouli Spoke About Hanuman Unnecessarily!

It is already known that the Telugu people are very sentimental about their religious belief systems, and do not like any interference in this regard. Now it is strange to note that legendary film maker Rajamouli has perhaps unnecessarily interfered with this sentiment.

Rajamouli’s comments at the Varanasi event created a big debate on social media. While speaking about the technical problems that happened during the show, Rajamouli said he does not believe in God.

He shared that his father used to tell him that Lord Hanuman always protects from behind. But Rajamouli questioned this and asked why such problems happened if Hanuman was truly protecting. This statement upset many people.

He also said that his wife is a strong devotee of Hanuman and talks to Him like a friend. Rajamouli admitted that he sometimes gets angry about that.

He explained that he follows Hindu dharma as a philosophy, but personally he is an atheist. These comments were made emotionally because the team faced many issues with screens, equipment, and arrangements.

Many people on social media felt that he insulted Lord Hanuman and hurt religious sentiments. Some said he should not speak like this during a spiritual themed event. Others pointed out that he creates films inspired by Indian epics but still says he does not believe in God.

However, some supporters said his words came out of frustration and should not be taken too seriously. They believe the issue is being blown out of proportion.
