Rajamouli ignored Sridevi, But Doing It For Priyanka Chopra?

Now he is currently busy with his upcoming film, which has Mahesh Babu in the lead role.

However, there is one detrimental update about this film which is going viral on social media now and it has something to do with the principal female lead in the film played by Priyanka Chopra.

The latest updates are suggesting that Priyanka Chopra was paid a whopping amount of ₹35 crore for this film, and this is one of the highest remuneration that he had received in her career for. Usually, Rajamouli is very particular about the remuneration and working dates of his actors, but this time around, he was lenient about Priyanka Chopra, it seems.

Earlier, in the case of Baahubali, when Rajamouli approached legendary Sridevi to play the famous Sivagaami role in the film, he backed out later. This was due to the fact that Sridevi had demanded a huge amount of money as remuneration and also asked to enhance her character in the film.

Rajamouli, who was reluctant in the case of Sridevi later, went on to sign Ramya Krishna for this role, and it worked very well in the end. But now for the upcoming film with Mahesh Babu, it appears that Rajamouli has made the exception for Priyanka Chopra as he did not just approve the high remuneration that she is being paid, but also promised that he like modify the script to elevate her character further.
