Jailer 2 To Begin Next Year With Rajini and Dhanush

Superstar Rajinikanth is currently taking a break due to health issues, pausing the shoot of his upcoming film Coolie with Lokesh Kanagaraj. Production for Coolie is expected to resume next month. After finishing Coolie, Rajinikanth will reunite with director Nelson Dilipkumar for Jailer 2, anticipated to start early next year.

Given the massive success of Jailer, expectations are high for this sequel. Nelson is refining the script, with plans for top actors Mohanlal, Jackie Shroff, and Shiva Rajkumar to reprise their roles.

Excitingly, recent Tamil media reports suggest that Jailer 2 may also feature Dhanush in a prominent role. Nelson has narrated the role to Rajinikanth, who approved Dhanush for the part. With Dhanush’s admiration for Rajinikanth, he is likely to accept this special role despite his busy schedule. Sun Pictures is on board as the producer, adding even more buzz to this anticipated sequel.
