Jailer 2: Superstar Rajni Banks On 8 Cameos

Films that have Superstar Rajnikanth these days are being loaded up with a lot of cameos and star cast these days. Even in the recent “Coolie”, we have seen the likes of Nagarjuna, Shruti Haasan, Soubin Shahir doing character roles, while Aamir Khan and Upendra have done cameos.

Talk about his last blockbuster, Jailer, there are lots of cameos inside the film, including those of Shivrajkumar and Mohanlal. Now that Jailer 2 is coming, there is a lot of talk going on about these cameos.

A report is doing rounds that Jailer 2 features an explosive, star-studded lineup of guest stars, and nearly eight stars are said to have done cameos. The confirmed names that have popped up so far are the likes of Vijay Sethupathi, Hrithik Roshan, Mohanlal and Shivarajkumar.

Back then, the names of Shah Rukh Khan and Nandamuri Balakrishna were also heard strongly, but those two have dropped the idea of doing this cameo. The likes of Vidya Balan and Mithun Chakraborty are also there in the film, and they are doing full-fledged roles but not cameos.

Anyway, it looks like if it is a Rajnikanth film, it has to have lots of cameos to entertain the audience rather than the superstar alone. Well, this has more become Avengers like theme, where all other superheroes from the Marvel universe obviously join the film.
