Mad hype for Jailer 2 in Telugu, But…

By now, everyone knows that superstar, Rajinikanth’s Jailer is one of the most profitable dubbed films in recent times. The film generated nearly 3 times the profit with regard to investment and theatrical returns proposition.

In this context, there is mad hype for the second part Jailer 2. This film started with the shooting process recently, and the same was communicated by the production house a few weeks ago. Rajinikanth and Director Nelson Dilip Kumar are proactively shooting for this film now.

In the meanwhile, there is a lot of discussion about the theatrical evaluation of the sequel in the Telugu states and there is a lot of financial talk associated with the same as well.

A fierce competition is being registered for the Telugu states theatrical rights of Jailer 2. Reportedly, a leading production house has reportedly offered ₹60 crore, but the film’s producer is aiming even higher. The confidence stems from Jailer Part 1, which earned nearly ₹100 crore in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Notably, the first film did ₹12 crore in pre-release business and delivered a ₹47 crore share, resulting in a ₹34 crore profit. The film could collect nearly hundred crore gross in the Telugu states alone.

However, the kind of demand that is being presented in front of the buyers is pretty substantial for this sequel as a pretty impressive offer of ₹60 Crore has also been rejected. It appears that the makers are the film much higher, and they are likely to strike the deal only when they find the right number.
